Amazing Grace Newsletter Article

For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
 (Psalm 139:13-14)
¯¯Worship & Music Notes¯¯

I love this verse from Psalm 139, the image of God taking the time to form me and knit me together linked with the knowledge that God does not abandon me to sin and brokenness but sends his son to live, die, and rise again brings hope and promise to the world.  These words and the redeeming acts of Jesus are words and actions are meant for you, me, and the entire world.
On a more global scale all of us from Amazing Grace are members of a larger body, the body of Christ formed and knit together through the waters of baptism.  As people knit together we are all interconnected one with another, we are "Connected in Christ."
For the 2012-2013 year our theme is "Connected in Christ."  In September come and see our connections!  September 2 is our last Sunday of the summer schedule with a prayer service at 8:00 AM & Worship with Communion at 9:30 AM.  Saturday, September 8 is the opportunity to connect with the Inver Grove Heights community with our float in the IGH Days parade.

Sundays, September 16, 23, 30, will have Worship with Communion at 8:00 & 10:30 AM with education opportunities between services.
